What can I do? Not as much as you might
think. No Libertarian candidate for U.S. Congress has ever
received more than 5% of the vote, so I am not going to get elected
and solve our problems. But my candicacy can highlight the issue of
the national security state and force the incumbent Republican,
John Shadegg, to explain his unflagging support for Orwell's 1984.
Shadegg wants to send 25,000 more soldiers to Iraq than President
Bush, and Shadegg also believes in the "clash of civilizations"
between Muslims and Christians, a fairy tale invented by the
warfare state and niche "Christian" marketers seeking product
differentiation.
Because I speak honestly and directly, I could never receive the
Democratic nomination, but it is possible a Democratic candidate
could beat Shadegg. The last Democratic candidate was a decent guy,
opposed to the warfare state and for the entrepreneurial state
(economic development). I want to create awareness of the national
security state so that voters force Shadegg to explain himself and
where he is taking this country. To do this, I need to speak to as
many voters as possible, and I need your help to do this. Contact
me to speak to your: homeowners' association, book club, gun club,
car club, garden club -- you name it. I will do it. I know my
subject and welcome questions from any angle. |
